The Valmy armchair was created with a focus on simplicity and comfort, making it an ideal fit for any type of setting. Originally designed for use in hotel bedrooms, it effortlessly combines timeliness and elegance. Its form and purpose are perfectly balanced, making it a versatile choice.

  • Dimensions: H76 x W71 x D70 x Seat 42cm
  • Materials: Structure in steel wire and clad with injected foam. Base is in black lacquered metal. Structure of seat in panels of plywood. The back and armrests are composed of injected polyurethane foam, with the exterior clad in polyester quilting. The seat is composed of high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam and polyester quilting. The Interior of the back cover is quilted with polyether foam  and the motif is created by an automated sewing robot with a 5mm baguette stitch detail on the seat. 
  • Fabric Information:
Vidar - A tightly woven boucle with an appearance reminiscent of orange peel. A gentle satin finish of the weave avoids the itchy properties of some wools.

94% Wool / 6% Nylon

Canvas Laine - A woven worsted wool consisting of subtly contrasting colour tones. Traditionally woven in British mills          90% Wool,10% Polyamide 


We love using the Canvas Laine fabric for the Valmy on an elegant accent chair for any room in the home and the Vidar fabric for sumptuous bedroom chairs.

We deliver great design across the UK. Depending on the size and fragility of your order, it will be shipped either by courier or with our dedicated third-party service.

If you are local to Oxford we also offer a collection service from our warehouse based in OX4. Please select 'Pick Up' at the check out.
